Describing Food

Exemplo:

"Last night I ate a burger. It was really delicious! The meat was so juicy and the fries were extremely crispy. The sauce was a bit spicy, but I liked it. It was absolutely amazing!"

I just ate a meat pie I made in the air fryer, a healthy way, but it was awful!

My favorite food is rice, beans, and meat with potatoes.

Potatoes are amazing; they could have protein instead of carbs.

Last weekend, I had rice with fish and mashed potatoes. I think it's one of the best meals out there. Simple and delicious.

Mike: Hi, Sulley! Good to see you! What have you been up to?

Sullivan: I've been working a lot. I have heard that you've been working in a new screaming strategy.

Mike: Yeah, that's right. I woke up and asked myself: why we ran out of power last week?

Sullivan: I wonder if you found a good answer. More often than not you say weird things.

Mike: Yes, every once in a while. But now It's past. I will solve this energy issue.

Sullivan: I think you can't handle It. Mike: I wonder if you know something about screaming.

Sullivan: I wish i knew how it will be solved. Could you explain that?

Mike: First off, we need to work 6 hours more.

Sullivan: Are you crazy? I knew that you was strange.

Mike: I'm kidding, bro. We just need to adjust some "fear levels".

Sullivan: Oh, that's a good idea.

Bonnie: Carol, do you think we should go hiking this weekend?

Carol: Sure! We could explore that beautiful hidden trail I heard about.

Bonnie: But we should check the weather first. It could rain and hiking in the rain is horrible.

Carol: We might bring some waterproof cover just in case.

Bonnie: I should remember to pack some snacks and water. Hiking without it would be a huge mistake!

Carol: yeaah! We can take some pictures of the views. It's one of my favorite things to do.

Bonnie: Mine too! I love taking pictures, specialy when it comes to nature.

Carol: How about we start in the morning? So we can avoid the crowds.

Bonnie: Perfect! Waking up early could lead to a peaceful hike.

Tyler: yeah! It felt like we were in a different world!

Damon: I had been waiting for it for weeks. When we finally got there, that insane energy just abducted me, man.

Stefan: Those sandwiches were delicious.

Damon: and the tea house, I thought it was such a charming touch.

Stefan: I stood there for a while trying to choose one of those mugs.

Stefan: While you were having fun, I was stuck in line for a mug.

Damon: god forbid, hahaha!

Damon: of course. But next time, let’s make sure we bring our crew.

Stefan: And maybe we can even try some of those crazy British snacks like black pudding or something.

U5 - What have you been up to?

Write a short narration of facts (past/present/future) to answer the question 'what have you been up to?'.

You can summarize what happened yesterday, then explain what you're doing today and what you're going to do later or tomorrow. This is what we do when we answer the question above. There are other shorter ways to do so, but it's good to know how to tell people what's going on in your life when they ask you this question. It sounds natural when you do so appropriately.
